Our story

Pourquoi MAQH ? Why MAQH?

MAQH-Invoice est né d'une frustration très concrète : voir ma sœur Fatoumata, éducatrice spécialisée, passer des heures chaque mois à se débattre avec Excel pour sortir une facture conforme. Elle aidait des familles toute la journée. Le soir, elle bricolait des tableaux. J'ai voulu lui rendre ces heures-là — et les rendre à toutes les personnes qui font un vrai métier, pas un métier de comptable.

MAQH-Invoice was born from a very concrete frustration: watching my sister Fatoumata, a special education teacher, spend hours every month fighting with Excel to produce a compliant invoice. She helped families all day. In the evening, she was hacking together spreadsheets. I wanted to give her those hours back — and give them back to everyone doing real work, not accounting work.
